India’s 72nd Independence Day was celebrated at The Foundation School with much enthusiasm and fanfare on 14th August 2018. The unfurling of the flag was done by Mr. Lal Raisinghani, Member of Managing Committee in the presence of the entire School. The students of the Pre Primary had the opportunity of visiting and interacting with the at the Mother Diary booth in nearby Sadiq nagar on 18 July 2018 . The visit was a hands-on experience to complement what was taught in the lesson, ‘Fruits and Vegetables’. On 24th and 25th July, 2018, the students of class VI attended a workshop on film making. The FILMIT India workshop was organised by INTACH and The Helen Hamlyn Trust and it sought to teach the children to make short films on their own culture that can be shared through the internet with school children in other cities.
